A male United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Okay i am really Worried about my girlfriend.

This week is the week she usually has her period.

She has had tender boobs (she does sometimes when she is on her period)

She had some pretty bad stomach cramps witch caused her to throw up (she does complain about cramps when she is on her period i have not asked her if she has had her period yet we are close but i don't really want to ask cause she might think something is up)

She has been unable to stay up as late as she usually does (but then again she has been under a bit of stress with work and by late i mean like 1am)

i know i am probably just being silly but i want some guidance on what to do or to say.

the last time we had sex was about 3 weeks ago give or take and we always use a condom.

Please help in anyway you can

kayla20 agony auntas you know condoms are not 100% affective is there any chance she could be pregnant id say leave it for a week or so if she doesnt get a period tell her to take a pregnancy test.im pregnant at the moment with my second child and both times i was late on my period but felt cramps like i was going to come on but never did i also felt really tired and sick and had tender boobs they sound to me like pregnancy symptoms but address the matter gently as you dont want to worry her maybe incourage her to see her doctor

This is the most annoying question we get here on Dear Cupid, could I be pregnant and these are my symptoms.

Look there is no such thing as being a little bit pregnant you either are or you are not. There are early pregnancy tests that are about 99% accurate, you pick one up, she pees on a stick and it gives you an answer in a few minutes.

Short of that, go to the doctor. How can we help you sitting accross a compute screen.

If you are having sex, you run the risk of becoming parents.

SirenaBlusera agony auntI'm sorry you're going through this.

She needs to go to a doctor, for her peace of mind and yours.

Of course no one can give you medical advice over the internet, but severe, debilitating menstrual cramps CAN be a sign of endometriosis, which, if caught in time, is easy to treat but it can cause problems if not caught in time.

The throwing up and severe cramps are a drag. I have had similar symptoms (never been pregnant)but there are treatments available.

Are you saying her period is late, and you're concered she might be pregnant? Or are you just worried because she's experiencing these symptoms?

Go with her to the doctor's.

She'll feel better and so will you. I hope this helps!
