reader, anonymous, writes (12 March 2010): Loss of sexual desire can be due to many things. In men of your age, it is usually lowered testosterone levels. Get a check up and blood work done to see if their are any medical issues.Psychological issues can play a part, but usually aren't what the problem is, like stress or depression. If you are having erectile dysfunction, this can be an early symptom of cardiovascular disease. You need to have your circulation and your heart checked out pronto. This is a serious problem for a lot of men and this is how they find out they have heart issues. So don't delay, go to the doctor.

You need to give more details: how much exercise do you do per day? Is your waistline greater than 36inches? What is your blood pressure? Cholesterol? Blood sugar level? What medications are you on? What is your diet like? What is your stress level like? I think perhaps your answers to these questions will give you some clues.

Not much information offered at all, but Viagra or Cialis helps part of the potential problem but does not create desire. Your mind does that.
