It doesn't sound crazy. Many people go through a period where we begin questioning who we are, what we're suppose to be doing differently, and how to get there. It's normal. The truth is, you have a lot to offer, you're just not tapping into your potential in doing so. How long has this behavior been going on? Also please give an example of a time you thought your behavior was taking advantage of someone for your own gain.

you can change how you feel about urself... maybe thinking about what your about to say/do can stop this hard edge... and it doesnt sound deep... coz im doing exactly the same thing... think about the person you would like to become eventually and if ur thinking of definetely changing then model yourself on that... everybody is unique and we all have off days... it just cant be helped...
hope this helps
