 Everyone has a different pain threshhold so it may or may not hurt you but on most occasions it does hurt most.
The best thing you can do is go see them at where you give blood they will get you to fill out a form and they will tell you if you can or can't give blood.

 Yes, it will hurt a little, won't lie about that. The feeling of doing something so great makes the two seconds of pain totally worth it tho. A little known fact is that it is also good for your own body to give blood because I gives your body a chance to renew and replenish it's own supply.
Don't forget the free cookies and juice either!
Do it once, if it is horrible, don't do it again but at least if you do it once you can say you tried.
