writes: took two pregnancy tests, both came back positive right away, it was a huge shock to me as im only 18 i couldn't stop shaking, but i have my family and my boyfriend who are there for me 100%. im 6 weeks pregnant and i decided to keep it, i know its going to be tough bringing up a child but theres no way i could have an abortion or put it up for adoption. i have a midwife appointment soon and im just really worried, im worried about everything, like losing the baby or discovering somethings wrong with the baby, im afraid that im not going to be a good mum, alot is worrying me, i do have support but i cant help but worry. i have given up smoking also, it was hard but i knew i had to for the sake of the baby. im just terrified that something bad is going to happen because im an unlucky person and good things dont happen to me often. i just wanted some advice really.

You need to stop worrying, to much stress can cause a miscarrage. now sit back and take a deep deep breath, hold it in and let it out slowly. Feel better? You'll be a great mum especially if you have so much consern for you child already.

What do you mean good things don't happen to you? You have a loving boyfriend and family, and now you have a sweet little baby on the the way. All good things. Don't fear the unknown just enjoy the blessings you have. Good job on the quitting smoking, I've tried a few gazillion times.
