He sometimes acts as if he really likes me and other times he can ignore me and talk more to his other girls who are his friend. He even complimented me that I was wearing a Boston college sweatshirt and I wore it because I know he likes it. Today we talked together and I never knew how much we both had in common. The stuff we don’t have in common, our likes, he argues that his political person is better than the one I voted for. But it’s not like he’s bragging it’s just that he likes to argue a lot with me. Well we were talking about the normal stuff and the person sitting next to me left so I moved my backpack and sat closer to him because he was across from me. Then he randomly says that his fingers are stubby. I’m like ok that’s really random and then he talks about how far apart his fingers and toes are. I really did not have to know those things. As he was showing me his fingers I felt close because I wanted to put my hand against his. Oh course you know by now that I have a thing for him. My best friend is confusing me about our friendship! It seems like he’s into me and then he’s not! He’s been chatting with me online but it never lasts and he eventually stops! He Smiles at me and stares a lotHe always smiles when I touch himIf I make fun of him he just laughs it doesn’t bother himI told him that I liked him and he’s still my friendHe liked the gift that I gave himAlways try’s to find a way to friendly argue with meHe pretends like he knows a lot about meStares at me when im not looking sometimesPlayfully teases meAnd then other times he:Doesn’t talk to me muchIgnores me during school timeDoesn’t reply to texts just reads themNever has time to hang out if I ASK HIMHave a lot of girls who he’s friends withDoes he like me? I’m really waiting until he’s ready to be my boyfriend! But it’s really hard and I just like to know straight on from him. I don’t want to tell him all the time about how I feel when he knows! He never really wants to talk about those kinds of things.

The things you are describing are all the signs that he really likes you, but is too damned shy to say anything. If you want to know straight how he feels, take him aside in private and tell him to his face that you fancy him. Then ask how he feels.
