I'm still bleeding, should I be worried?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *ashion_queen writes:

Hi all, I'm 18 years old and on Tuesday night I lost my virginity to my best friend, who I really love. we've told each other we love each other blah blah, and I'm really glad I lost my virginity to him as I could never imagine it being anyone else. The only thing is he'd slept with 2 girls before me, and he was my first. I don't use tampons, but I've been fingered a few times by him, and someone I was involved with before him. Before we had sex he both fingered me and went down on me. The sex was rather painful, but I was expecting it to be. There wasn't any blood on the sheets or anything but when I went to the toilet there was some. however, it's now Friday afternoon and although it's not really sore any more I was still bleeding last night and today it hasn't really been blood but more of a brown type substance?! The amount is getting weaker though, so should I leave it a few more days or should I be worried?

Seratuki agony auntHey hon..

I wouldn't be worried...sometimes you bleed quite a bit. the brown substance could be old blood...so no...I wouldn't worry...but if it doesn't stop in a few days it's probably best to see your doctor about it...
