There's this girl in my class that I'm crushing on. Sometimes I notice her looking at me and when she notices that I'm looking at her, she looks somewhere else.

I'm shy and till now, I haven't talked to her yet. How do I make a good impression towards her?

And I don't know whether is she single or attached.

A male reader, Azza United Kingdom +, writes (30 April 2011):

If you are constantly glancing at each other there is likely something there. She might have a boyfriend she might not but you won't know unless you start talking to her.

You have to have the confidence to do something, because it's unlikely she will. Say hello when you see her and smile, maybe you will get the opportunity to talk further from there.

Put yourself in a position when you might get to work together in class or outside of it with assignments. This will give you a lot of time to learn more about her and what she likes. Make a foundation and build on it.
