Help i'm in need of advice.

Im a 24 year old girl and i have never had a boyfriend, i know a big reason for this is my shyness. It is something that stems from constant bullying i received in many high schools (my family moved around abit when i was younger) Another reason is not wanting to go to bars and clubs to meet people since i dont drink. But the main issue is that i have facial hair, as both my parents are from foreign countries where many women are hairier. However i suffer more as i'm more tanned then very dark and have auburn hair. I remember the first time i realised i had to wax my chin as it was getting noticeable. I sort of regret this as im stuck doing it for life but it lowered my self esteem further. As a result i can't even think about boyfriends with the fear of what they will think when they feel my chin. I pluck after waxing but i can always feel the stubble even if it cant be seen very well.

I've got to the point where i can't even look at men i find attractive because of how unattractive i feel. The sad thing is when i'm with my friends im a very outgoing and caring person.

I guess my question is are there any guys who have come across this with their gfs and didn't mind?

I appreciate compassionate and respectful responses, obviously this is a sensetive matter for me.

If you cant afford laser treatment then go and have electrolysis done at a beauty shop, and then you will get rid of it for good.

k_c100 agony auntWell have you ever thought about laser hair removal? It does cost a bit of money and yes it does hurt but after a number of treatments it will be gone forever and you will never have to worry about it again!

I have always had dark hair on my top lip that I have been very conscious about but fortunately I always bleached it rather than waxing, so it is still quite soft. But my mum has had laser hair removal on her top lip (it runs in the family!) and it took about 10 sessions but since then she has never had a strand of hair again. Each session took about half an hour and there is some redness aftrwards but that dies down after a few hours. I think within 6 months if you choose to do this then your problem will be gone forever!

While it isnt cheap, what is the price for self confidence?

I hope this helps!
