writes:Last December, I met this lady in a bar. We became friends and eventually started a relationship. A month ago, she disappeared without a trace. I figured she'd run off with someone else. Then two weeks ago, I got a letter from her saying that she wuz on the run from her fiance, who is an African prince. I figured she was just talkin sh** and tryin to find a way to break it off with me without hurting my feelings. But then the other day these 2 big dudes come to my place and demand to know where she is. I told them I didn't know. They said they work for the prince, who's her man, and I'm thinking what the hell? When I said I didn't know where she was, they trashed my place and said they would be back. They also said they'd rough me up big time if I slept with the princes chick. I did sleep with her. And now I'm thinking what will I do? I've been hiding out in my uncle's place but I'm darned well terrified they'll find me. I went to the police and they just laughed at everyting I told them. The girl I was with has come to hide out with me but were both real scared. I know if I give her up they'll probably let me go without hurting me, man, but I dunno if i can do it. What should i do?

If the police aren't going to help you, give her up!! Why endanger the lives of you and your girlfriend for someone who has obviously lied to you and most likely set you up for trouble. She shouldn't have gotten involved with you because now because of her you are in deep sh**. She's not worth your life!!

Why is she on the run? Why does she have to run away if she doesn't want the prince?
Why doesn't she just tell the prince that she doesn't want him?
May be there is more than to what she is telling you....
Or she might actually owe money to some bad people for what ever reason, and she probably owes them the money which is why the 2 big guys are after her, or may be she set this whole thing up for what ever reason, I don't know but something does not add up....
Let us know what you vae thought of doing so far any way, lay out some ideas so we can work through them.
