I fancy her as well though, and people say we should get together and stuff. I think she fancies me but I'm not sure? Then there's this other girl I met at a party, we swapped numbers and stuff and she keeps texting me telling me she wants to meet up at the cinemas. I'm not sure which girl I should pursue? Thanks,

aboveandbeyond is verified as being by the original poster of the questionHi again, thank you both for the advice and I ended up in the end asking out my friend (over the internet by the way - it seemed easier at the time). Anyway she said she'd think about it for a day, but she then she said no and kept coming out with excuses. I don't know why, I might talk to her friends because I think she wants to go out with me still, but she might be scared of losing our friendship?
Thanks again,

You little stud you! Well it wouldnt hurt to go meet this girl at the cinema.. Its not like your committing to anything by goin to see her. But if you like this friend of yours, maybe you should tell her how u feel first, and see if she feels the same. If you go meet this other girl first then your friend may not think u like her in that way..
You are only young, and its very likely that you'll meet lots more girls before you finally meet one that u have a "proper relationship" with, in the mean time go have some fun! But I really think if you do fancy your friend, you should definately tell her first!
Good luck huni
