A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have been seeing this guy for a bit from Feb now. We've been for countless coffees, movies, lunches. He likes me. I fancy him like mad. He's extremly shy and hasnt made a move on me physically but we act like a couple otherwise and everyone thinks we are going out. His eyes go huge when we are together and his face rather red. He's seeing no one else. We are exchange students in a different and weird country.

Now he's gone and invited me to a major dinner dance at his fathers company as his date. The idiot couldnt invite me to my face and texted me despite the fact we had been togther the whole day.

He's from a country where the men are shy and rather endearing:) Ok so meeting his parents? Is this a big deal? He's very close to them? What does this mean? Are we gettingsomewhere? Is he um, my boyfriend.

Meeting parents is usually a big deal, so yes you are getting somewhere. I think you are probably his girlfriend, but it's worth just talking to him to find out how he feels about it. But you seem to be getting along very well.
