When I moved, we still called and emailed each other. Now that is much less frequent. Even friends I know from other places than the city I moved away from-have become more distant. When someone writes me an email, I always respond, but lately, no one will just get back to me. It's like talking to a wall.I don't know what to do about it. I don't know the right thing to say to not lose my old friends. Is this distance effecting our relationships, or am I now suddenly boring? Is it normal to just lose all your old friends in a matter of months? I don't think I've changed that much, but I'm starting to think they have written me off... Reply to this Question Share |

You're not suddenly boring, it's just that you're all moving forward with your lives. This is all about the distance to be honest. You haven't changed. It's sad that it's happening. Keep in contact, but most importantly, make sure you're making new friends wherever you are.
