You're just letting your mind run away with you and you're stuck on this one girl. If she doesn't text you, she doesn't text you, it doesn't mean you can't ask her out next time you see her. The worse she can do is say no. Instead of letting that "kill your insides" move on and find someone worthy of your time.At your age, you probably have read Romeo and Juliet. Do you remember at the beginning of the play when Romeo was depressed because a girl named Rosaline wouldn't love him back no matter what he tried? He was depressed until he met Juliet and they got married. I'm not saying marry a person you've know for a few days, but give it a shot and if she turns you down, don't get depressed over this "Rosaline" type, instead go and find your Juliet.

 First and foremost, "Be a man!" I'm trying not to sound condescending. Women don't like a man lacking confidence and certainly one who is "hurt" by her not calling on his birthday. If you can't ignore it, text her and invite her out or over or to do something for your birthday. Some people just don't remember birthdays.

Honesty.. ok just enjoy your birthday and don't worry about it, she might just forget it's your birthday or something and you will then spend the day beating yourself up about it.
And if you like her that much why don't you just ask her out come on your a man now.
