It can happen. My parents started dating when my mom was 14 or 15 and they are still married. They did have a time when they dated other people because they were separated by distance and then my dad shipped out to Vietnam. They got married when my mom was 19 and have been married almost 40 years.

Well it's not unheard of. My parents met when they were just out of their teens (Admittedly both sets of grandparents totally set them up to fall in love with each other.) and are still very much in love. Not quite the 'first' for each other, though.

They can last, but very seldom.
Two of my ex classmates got together when they were 15 and now, a few centuries :) later, they are still happily married.
Statistically speaking, the chances are not very high. Which of course does not mean that's impossible.
