A female United States age 26-29, *la24 writes:

I'm in high school and I've been best friends with this guy for about three years. He texts me every single day, and if you read our conversations, sometimes you would think we're a little more than just friends. In the past, whenever he dates someone I get super jealous. And whenever I date someone, he gets super jealous. But we don't tell each other until a couple months after. He's the only person I can talk to forever, trust completely, and be myself around. So I'm in a situation, move on past him? Or tell him and either be in an amazing relationship or lose him as a best friend. What should I do?

dirtball agony auntI think you should tell him. I doubt you'll lose him as a friend even if he rejects you. If you are thinking about this, chances are he is too. Take it to that next step!
