writes:hey...i need some family advice :) i have had a bad past life with my family but i have put all that behind me well i thought i had :\ today i saw my brother again after a year because of my controlling grand mother (dads mum) she stop my brother from contacting my mums side of the family and when trust him with his car keys and phone because she is worried he will call or come see us all :\ he is going in the navy at the end of the month so my nan said that he will have more freedom when he comes home to visit but i dont believe her. i feel that my brother is old enough to look after to himself well he is 18 :@ this really frustrates me sooooo much and i am starting to hate my nan with a passion.can u give me some advice to help me stop hating my nan (i dont like the person i am turning into) please help !!x

sweetcheeks95 is verified as being by the original poster of the question my nan is just a bitch if things aint her way there no way :\ she controls everything...i dont understand why she doesnt want him seeing my mums side of the family (they havent done anything wrong) my parent feel its easier just to let her be at the moment because my nan said one he is in the navy everything will change :\ they are just sitting and waiting to see what happens in the futher x

 I don,t know really why you hate your gran its not very clear. I suppose you could try asking her why she has stopped your brothers contact and listen to her side of the story.I don,t know what you think you are turning into,but from all accounts you care enough to ask for help. You could never be a bad person. Disliking what your gran does, doesnot make you bad. My gran was an awfull women and that was not just my view. But we excepted her canky ways and most of all she didn,t get away all of her wants!!
