it could just be a case of the grass is greener on the other side syndrome, he might be perfectly in love with his girl but wants a bit of fun on the side.
don't show him you like him and you can't get hurt. if he really wants to make it something he'll come to you and let you know
otherwise don't waste your time because you'll be the one getting hurt while he's off with his girl.
