It's definitely true that smoking weed lowers the sperm count... my boyfriend and I have been having unprotected sex (using the withdrawal method) for over a year now, and up until 2 months ago he was smokin it up all day long every day. I kid you not, one month after he quit smoking weed cold turkey I got pregnant. We hadn't changed anything about the way we had sex, so I have no doubt in my mind it was the fact he had quit smoking. Tell your man to quit for a while, it won't kill him ;)

When trying to get pregnant it's normal for it to take up to a year, if you're still not pregnant after this time it's adviced to see a doctor. You not being able to get pregnant might be linked to your boyfriend smoking weed because it can lower his sperm count. Also, if you were to get pregnant while he is smoking it, it could have an affect on the child's health. My mum got pregnant from my dad before she had me but had an abortion because the scan showed that the baby would not have all it's limbs which was actually caused by my dad taking drugs. What I'd advice is for your boyfriend to seek help to stop using weed and wait until he is completely clean before trying for a baby.

Hi darlin, I had the same problem. I went to the doctors to make sure I was ok and everything'down there' was in working order and it was. My boyfriend went to the doctor and they said he has a low sperm count less than a million, and you need at least 20 million to make a baby!! He also smokes weed but has had to stop for the last six months and then go back to the doctors to see if there is any change. Both of you should get checked out to be 100% sure. Hope this helps.
