We've only been together for 7 or 8 months, so we don't know each other that well yet. I'd like to start some deeper conversations but I'm not sure how to. I know us not talking is as much my fault as his and I want to do something about it. I'm starting to feel lonely in my relationship. Reply to this Question Share |

Generally, to this point, what has your relationship been about? Do you even love this man?
What Plato said stands true "You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation" so perhaps it is actions and his behavior that had struck you with emotion and yet, perhaps what you need is a deep conversation. But if there was any hope, if there was anything to delve into, your boyfriend would be thinking the same thing would he not?
Sit him down and talk to him about where this relationship is going when you two know so little about each other. Perhaps you could devote an entire date to actually getting to know one another.
I hope that helps.
