dear cupid

i am really stressing i have a really good friend that is a boy who i am starting to fall in love with more and more. but he has told me who he fancies and i asked if anyone else that he knew fancies me but he said no. he doesn't have a girlfriend and we always are messing about but when i think about asking him out i stop because if he says no it would put tension between our relationship.

A female reader, dont_worry United States +, writes (7 December 2007):

dont_worry agony auntwell if he doesnt like you then why are you going to stop a really good friendship...

my advice is just for a while try to seek someone else, look for other options and lets see how your friend reacts

if he gets jealous then you can tell him how you relly feel, but if he doesnt care at all, then dont waste your time because unfortunately friends are the only thing you are going to be...

good luck!
