Oh I just read the first 3 comments. Nah don't buy that line of "oh your words are better than flowers." That's BS and any woman who knows how to be treated RIGHT will love flowers and think it is a fantastic idea. Flowers is a AWESOME gesture. I believe a guy should work hard to be creative and treat a girl well in addition to being a great guy. So be a gentleman and of course you should work hard to show her sweet gestures like buying her flowers and just being creative and suprising. Trust me, she is going to melt. And it is a gesture you should ALWAYS do for a girl you like. That and other things too. Just be creative.

Just make sure it is not an online site. Only real flower shops.

I wouldn't go to a site that delivers flowers in a box via Fed ex. That is so tacky, man. And effortless. Too easy.

If you want to send her flowers make sure a human being PERSONALLY delivers a bouquet of flowers straight from the flower shop to her home.

I had a boyfriend who had flowers sent to my house once, and my heart melted. I opened the door and there was a man with a smile on his face holding a bouquet of a dozen pink roses. There is nothing better in the world. I was so flattered.

So to be honest, more important than what flowers you choose, is how you get them delivered. Make sure a local flower shop personally delivers it. And make sure that you PERSONALLY write the note on the flowers. Your handwriting rather than some typed message from 1-800 flowers.

That shows EFFORT. You actually went out of your way and went to a flower shop and chose flowers in person, and wrote a note with your own handwriting. That is what counts. Online flower shops show absolutely NO effort. You sit on your computer from the comfort of your own home choose flowers type a message. Nah, no thanks.

Cateyes agony auntFrom the heart is what I would want to hear, however, their is a really neet web site and I think it's called speakingroses.com or something like that.

I recieved one in a glass bulb with a wooden bottom to place on my desk that never dies. Inside the bulb is the words "I Love You" on the red rose. I love it to death and I cherrish it everyday and I see it everyday at work. It was sent to me long distance...and because roses die...that is why he sent it to me...so I would remember it always...and it worked!
