For some reason lately I seem to find myself more and more attracted to white men. Now I know there is nothing wrong with this, as I have dated white guys before, but I am older now, and a little wider now..lol..since my son. I am tall (almost 5'9) and thick..which apparently isn't appealing to the white men around here. So what do I do? I mean a man is a man, but I don't know what it is lately.... I have even considered moving out of state (in the south, men don't mind a healthy woman with real curves!!)..I think I just needed to say this out loud..but any advice? I think that you are approaching this in compleatly the wrong way. You seem to be focusing on white males in New York as a group, they are not they are all individuals as you are.Not everyone thinks the same so dont believe any of the rubbish that white males in New York do not rate black curvy women! I believe that it is extreme to move from one place to another just so that you satisfy someone else, love yourself and then others will follow suit. If you stop looking for a relationship then it usually finds you. Focus on something that you are happy with in your life (maybe your son) and then you will take your mind off looking for that perfect partner and they may find you. Introducing yourself to social sittuations such as bars and clubs may also help. Good luck.

Racism is really a problem on International scale.
It's not limited to your area, state, or country.
We cannot change it; let's focus on your problems here:
"I am older now, and a little wider now...since my son"
"I am tall (almost 5'9) and thick...which apparently isn't appealing to the white men around here"
These things are matter of preference of a particular man.
Moving out of state is not recommended - it is too radical.
