 45 minutes is actually very good. I would say that in your twenties you do have alot more stamina than older men(unless they work out and take care of themselves). However that is not always the case. That would be my answer to your question.
However if you are worried about your longevity, there are lots of exercises you and she can both do to both physically and mentally.
