A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I'm 18, and he's 28. What would you think of dating an 18 year old if you were 28? Im from England and he's from america, so we have a real cultural difference in that we have more freedom at 18 in england than over here. I think he likes me but in all honesty am i wasting my time??

I don't know whether my suggestion is useful for I just 24 years old, it seems you have a lot of considerations on the age difference and cultural difference, if you really want to stay with the 28 years old guy, why not overcome the age difference and cultural difference. If so, you can get some expert advices about how to deal with these problems from some online dating sites, such as Agematch.com, Agelesslove.com and etc. If not, please move on, it's wasting your time for life is short.
