reader, anonymous, writes (17 March 2011): if it helps i met my gf when i was 17 and she was 13. im 4 years older than her. She's 18 now and I'm almost 22 and were still together and love each other and yes we were capable of hiding it so in all there is hope its just going to be a while until you two can be more in the open and ur parents ok with it. My best advice is to make sure he's the right guy and not just some schmuck.

At this age you can be mature enough, but, i cannot judge.
3 years are not much, but, if you look for a serious relationship at this age, you are definitely making a mistake.
At this age sexual hormones in your body and his body are pumping, i assume you are attracted to each other physically, if not you, he is!
Again this my assumption.
