It is so not a good idea i am 22 i lost it at 16 i thought i was ready then and i liked the guy so much, but when it came down to it i changed my mind, he beat me and raped me and i know you will prolly say this guy isnt like that but you never know, i had known this guy forever, he was 28 years old he was suppose to be nice and mature and he said everything i wanted to hear. You will regret this for the rest of your life. there is not a day that goes by that this guys face does not pop in my head and even if he hadnt raped me i would still feel the same, i was to young at 16 now i cant even enjoy sex dont do that to yourself trust me it IS worth the wait i know how your body is feeling and i know what is going through your head and im sure you will agree with me when i say that alot of what you are worried about is that he wont like you anymore if you dont. who cares. you will find someone that is better there are so many choices out there so many good guys and you havent even given yourself time to find that out dont rush this WAIT please!!!!

Enjoy being young and not having to worry about sex yet.
I encourage you to wait for another 3 or 4 years. You're so young and you'll probably end up seriously regretting not waiting for someone and sometime special.

i think u should wait. im 23 and i lost my cherry at 16 and im so glad i waited now cause wen i meet men now and they ask wen i lost it,and i say 16 i feel better. think about when ur older and some bloke asks u and u turn round a say 13 they are not going to be interested in u trust me its happen to my friend loads of times and she was 14 and bloke thinks she is a slag cause she started so early. if your bf loves u and care he would wait. make sure u tell him ur real age first, dont be selfish u will lose out in the end and he finds out and leaves u,ur b heartbroken that he had sex and went, think of it that way. dont be silly mate. good luck anyway

reader, anonymous, writes (5 November 2006): by the sounds of it your not ready to have sex yet and it sounds as though he is pressuring you into it... when your ready to have sex, its not usually that scary because its with someone you love and trust. at your age i wouldn't really advise you to have sex, you may be mature but sex can be fun but also can bring alot of responsibilty. i don't know this guy but you may also get a bad reputation which may affect you when your older and wanting to have a serious relationship. you should only have sex when your ready, don't feel pressured into it, and if hes a worthy guy he will wait for you. i'm not going to lie to you, first time sex does hurt, but it would hurt less if your totally relaxed and comfortable with the guy and most of all ready. first time sex shouldn't be as painful as some people will make out, or no-one would do it for a second time, a third time etc. if you do decide to have sex with him make sure you use a condom, to ensure you don't get pregnant and to protect you from sexually transmitted infections. good luck and i hope ive helped x

try talking to the family planning clinic to get advice on what harm you could do to you rbody before you even consider having sex at 13.

 Hang on a minute hunnie.. You are 13! You really need to wait atleast 3 years.. Also, to have to pretend you are 15 to other boys to me does not make you all that grown up for your age, You shouldn't have to lie about your age. You have all the time in the world to have sex when you are older.. don't rush your childhood, live it to the max and enjoy being young whilst you can. Also, by having sex at your age you are more prone to things like Cervical cancer and many others.. there are also other things to consider like if you got pregnant and how that would turn you whole life around, please take my advice and wait another 3 years then you are legal to do whatever you like x x Take care angel x x
