 hunni you are not sick i know how you feel because recently i got called sick and a perv for going out with a 14yr old even tho i am 15. dont listen to those comments made by them. if some of the people who comment havent had bf/gf's then they are just jealous. my parents have a 21yr gap between them and their relationship is great :) just keep ur head held high and just remeber that you cant help like younger guys and you shouldnt change what you like for the worldgood luck

I think it could be a comfort issue.
As you might know, most girls go for the older guys.
: and the older guys go for the younger girls.
I beleive the reason guys go for younger girls is because they are not comfortable with a person of the same maturity.
They feel more in control of the relationship.
This could be your issue.
Ask yourself why don't you think you like guys your age or older?
I personally think you are too young to be dating, but do what you feel is right; not what everyone tells you.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2007): No you are not sick at all!! When you're younger the age difference does seem huge but its really not that big a deal. My other half is 3 and a bit years younger than I am and other people just say "oh you've bagged yourself a toyboy, well done!" My own parents have a 11 year age gap between them as well. So what if they're a couple of years younger than you if you like the person that's all you need!!
These other people are just ignorant and if they don't have a boyf/girlf they're probably jealous as well. These people should take a look at all the celeb couples around and couples in their own lives (like parents)....how many of them are exactly the same age? Not many I bet. Just keep your head high.
