Depends on your skin type and how good you heal, obviously, there'll be a scar afterwards, there's no way around that.But, you're young, so scarring fades a lot by the time you're an adult. Talk to your mum or dad or someone about getting vitamin E pills, it helps with skin healing. When you have healed up, vitamin E oil can be rubbed onto the scar aswell, which can reduce it's appearance.ALSO, I'm not sure whether you'll have it where you live, but there's a really good product for scarring called bio-oil, I've used it, and it really works well, so if you do get a scar and want to reduce it, look on the internet for that.Xx

reader, anonymous, writes (16 August 2007): No, the scar will be tiny! It will look kinda red and swollen for a few weeks but eventually it will fade and be barely noticable. Don't worry, loads of people have them and I bet you never noticed!! :)
