What can be more enjoyable than being close to the one you care about?? What can be more fun than covering his/her body with kisses? What can be more pleasing than seeing another person especially a lover, enjoying a sexual experience? What can be more satisfying than seeing another person, especially a lover being fulfilled sexually? What can be more great than having sex with another person especially a lover?

We are taught to associate it with shame from the time we are kids. Anyways even if we think sex is to be private, to be shared with only one person in your life we have to admit sharing it with that one person must be something special and beautiful. It cant be nasty. We humans have lost touch with reality. Thinking ability is the greatest boon and greatest bane for humans. Animals dont have our hang ups. But with thinking ability we can ultimately win over our wrong ideas. Sadly many people who bothered to sign up as an agony aunt dont want to use that ability, as I can see here.
On a side note, I see most guys saying that they think sex is the best thing. On the other hand many girls seem to say they think chocolates or romance or music or something else is better than sex. Though some of them may be telling the truth, I have a doubt that they say that becoz inherently they feel wanting sex is not a good thing. Good girls dont want it ya know. But think about it. Liking chocolates or music are not naturally instilled in us. It is a learned thing unlike sex. The need for food and sex are the two primary and strongest driving forces based on survival instinct. People may say "You wont die if you dont have sex." But if we are to believe principles of evolution sex at times can be even more important for survival than food. Even if you eat food regularly you die one day. That is inevitable. But if you pass on your genes your genes survive even after you die.

Unfortunately, in certain time periods in history, sexual things were not openly discussed and people were a lot more reserved than we tend to be in the 21st century. It was once seen as dirty and shameful to be sensual and erotic. Back in the Victorian days it was considered indecent for a woman to show her ankle, and to discuss sex openly would have been extremely brazen by the standards of the time. They probably didn't use the expression "the nasty," back then, but I think that there is some vestige of that stigma even today, and people refer to sex as "the nasty" because they need a euphemism.

Sex isn't good or beautiful.
Sex isn't nasty.
Sex can be either, or both, or neither. You can have sex that can be one the most incredible experiences you ever have and leave a positive mark on your life. Or you can have sex that can be truly awful and leave you scarred and damaged.
It all depends: on the circumstances, on who it is with, how you are, how they are, all the details add up.
