I dont know if it's possible though. If it's impossible to get my hair straight, is there any "scene" hairstyles for curly hair? Thanks Reply to this Question Share |

If you've got the right kind of curly hair and it's still pretty shiny and not too "frizzy," it can work wonders. Just look at some of the expressions on the faces of straight-haired girls when they see it.

side part it,
make sure its like rounded like
straighten bits of your hair
[one- just above your ear but make sure its like under the curly hair,
and the other at the back when you've straightend them have them hannging over your sholders]
this is on both sides
then just add a bow and two coloured extensions where you've straightened

Hi
I have had thick dry curly hair all my life. Couple of months ago i went to the hairdressers and had it properly thinned out, they use these weird looking scissors, and it really chops at the hair! But the result is amazing. They also put some layers in and dried and straightened it for me, and ive had it straight ever since. My mum said my hairs really 'calmed down' now. I thought that was a good way to put it. Before when i tried to straighten it, it still stuck out too bushy because its so thick naturally. I also use serum when its wet and heat protector before using the straightners. Because of having dry texture hair they recommend i dont wash mine every day anyway, cuz it takes the natural oils away. So thats even easier for me, because i just spray some heat protector on, quick whiz with the straightners, bit of hair spray, and im ready!
The straightners i use are GHD equivelents, i got them off ebay for 30 quid and they go to the same temperature as GHD's (210) its only the temperature that matters. GHD is just a brand. No need to spend that much.
Good luck.

With the other advice in these replies, be careful about what products you use together as it is easy to end up with a total disaster if you mix different treatments. If in doubt about specific product combinations or choices ask for advice from a qualified hair stylist.

Well i had realllly curly hair too, ( i kind of miss it nw)..it didnt matter what i did..it wud jus go curly again..the first time i had it straightend was at the hair dressers and i loved it...jus a cut wash and a blow dry straight...they thinned my hair out as well cuc it was thick andd put sa few layers in it..after that i brought sum GHD hair straighters ..this big plates...and they work fantastic..nothing like other straightners, use abit of serum as well, rub it in your hair, and then straighten. i would not get it chemically straight, i was told by my hair dresser that it could ruin your hair follicles and damage your hair, if i was you, save up and buy sum GHD's, Big plates about £120, any salon sells them. Also, keep your curly hair, cuz curly is sooo in fashion right now, i loved twister sister (something named like that), its this hair product you can scrunch in your hair and let it dry naturally, u can buy it from asda..anyways,, hope this helps:)...god bless...friend xxx

And it is possible to get very straight hair from straightening irons, but you do have splash out on them. Cheap ones tend not to work because they don't get hot enough. GHD hair straighteners are the best.
