reader, anonymous, writes (5 January 2008): I would talk to her about it first. If the 2 of you have never watched porn together before she might be offended by knowing that you have it. Some women hate it and are really offended if their partner watches it. My wife is not one of those and does like different types of porn. What she likes the best is normal sex between one man and one woman. Normal sex, including oral and using different normal positions and with no anal. That is a turnoff for her. She also likes 2 or maybe 3 men with one woman, as that used to be an untainable fantasy for her. However, we have a great sex life without porn, so this is why I think she likes it sometimes for extra stimulation. I have no idea what other women who like porn might like. Again, unless you know that she is not offended with porn, I would be very careful. This is especially true if your sex life is not very good at the moment.

 I don't think it will work. Most women, although not all, are not really very interested in porn. The marketing of all things pertaining to the physical acts of sex seem to be focused on the biggest market.... men.
Thinking like a man, you think this might raise her interest. It might, but don't expect her to have the same reaction as a male might.
