By the she can't tell your mum anything unless you ask her to. So if you don't want your mum to know just say so when you go see her.

Hi.
Yes its doctors job to keep you happy & therefore she will keep this completly confidential. I cant imagine what happened but im glad your seeking medical advice as if this is left you could get a infection.
Good luck x

The doctor will keep this confidential. It is vital that you go and get this sorted out as you could get a nasty infection. The way you have to see it is that yourself and your health is what matters first and foremost. Doctors are paid to keep people happy and healthy and they see peoples intimate areas on a daily basis so there really is nothing to be embarassed about. Just go in, lay back and think about something else and it will be over before you know it!!

How this might have happened I would not have a clue.
However, yes there is the law of doctor/patient confidentiality. Even law enforcemnt officers cannot come in and see your medical records or even ask about medical information on someone without a judge signed warrant. Just to get a warrant is like pulling teeth to get, so yes you can go to the doctor and not worry about exposure. (No pun intended) Doc.

I dont know what a 'cap' is and I wont ask how it got there, but go and get it removed and dont worry about anyone finding out.
