You need to read up on the different STD's there are out there. Yes, you can still be infected with an STD even if you are a virgin. However if you are you'll most probably be aware of it and hopefully have the integrity to tell your partner. There are some STD's you won't have, or it is highly unlikely to have, and there are others who are passed on through blood and saliva, and not just genital contact. Some can be passed from parents to child, some can be passed by needles and unsterilized doctors equipment, some pass through kisses. Read up on them all to learn how each one can be spread and learn how you can protect yourself.
I did some searching around, this site offered more details about some of the most common STD's and infections. http://www.youngwomenshealth.org/sexuality_menu.html#stds
Click the links at the bottom for information about each of the STD's.

Basically the answer is no. It is possible to have an infection of some sort but an STI will not form out of no where from you two having sex.

It's incredibly rare. It's possible, but so rare it's not worth worrying about unless either of you have shared needles with other people or had parents with HIV.
