writes:Hey aunts and uncles!! Your input is appreciated though this is not a relationship question. So, my best friend is pregnant. She is the best friend a person can have and I love her to bits. I decided that during her pregnancy she should get one small gift each month from me. So for January she got a gourmet meal, her favorite cooked by yours truly and for February she got the big baby encyclopedia. I really need suggestions as the baby is due in September. One more catch, I am a poor student :-) and can't afford anything extravagant. So, your wonderful creativity is seriously wanted! Looking forward to any ideas/suggestions

Reggina7 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionWow! Excellent suggestions!!!! I have a mental image of the baby dressed as a dinosaur now :-) And the lullaby idea is so cute. This baby will be loved, that's for sure. Once again thanks a bunch everone for the suggestions and if anyone else feels like adding to it I'll take it all in :-)

 Oooh, you could fill out a little notebook with advice for the baby when the baby is a teenager! You could do a photo session with her - bring your camera and some body paint (make sure it is safe for use on a pregnant woman), and get creative! Fun pictures she can cherish forever.
Maybe a little further down the line you could get her some actually cute maternity clothes.
Do you have any friends who are musically talented? Maybe you could write the baby a little song (even if it's silly, and even if you sing off key), or get your friends to write up a lullaby and record it for her.
There is also nothing cuter than super cute baby stuff. I'm sure you will find a little bathrobe that makes the baby look like a dinosaur or a duck or something. Or maybe little baby shoes. That kind of adorable stuff. You could get a plain onesie and somehow personalize it (draw on it, maybe?) with inside jokes or something clever that you know your friend will get a kick out of.
There are some ideas! Have fun putting it all together - it's a great idea! Good luck!
