I would love more from her but don't want to risk our friendship.

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I have this friend and we are closer than you could imagine. She is the only person who can make me smile and feel good all the time. We cuddle and sleep in the same bed when she comes over. I even sit with her in the bathroom cause she doesn't like to shower alone. I'm attracted to guys mostly, but some girls too. I haven't come out as bi, but it's because I don't really want to date any of the girls who go to my school. Then about a year ago my friend and I started messing around. I think I may have initiated it, but I'm not really sure. Usually it's me who does a bit more of the giving, but now we're more equal. At first we just kissed/sucked on boobs. Then we got more intimate. I honestly think I may really like her. She says she's thought about dating girls in college but she's not sure. She can be really masculine. Her parents are homophobic. I don't want to risk our friendship by making her uncomfortable since we don't really talk about hooking up. I love her though. I know we're only 17- but we're going to graduate and I don't want to lose her. She's never had a bf- but I have. She was extremely jealous of my last boyfriend and showed no shyness about disliking him. Then I realized that I liked her more than any of the guys I know and I've stayed single for a while.

Sometimes you have to take a chance. It sounds like she likes you, so why not go for it and see where it leads.
