Alcohol could have been a factor I suppose though I've drunk far more and still been up for it. Essentially the only reason it concerns me is because:
A) It's never happened before. At least, not when I was sober enough to remember it.
B) All the things that hinder your ability to perform (Stress/Anxiety, Alcohol, even not being attracted to the woman) are barriers I've got over before. So I can't see any of them being a factor.
C) That this shit might be like Diagon Alley - if you have a doubt when it comes to the crunch you're going to end up looking like a bit of a wanker.

 Oh dear, this is one of those moments that every male dreads.
I don't see anything wrong biologically. Could it be something psychological? Stress of the encounter - possible. Btw, alcohol can dampen erection in some males - it could be a reason. You need to explore this further.
