I let my mam have a great say in my earlier life with devasting results, so don't go there. It is your future and not theres. They are bound to feel the way they do.They saw their daughter in a hurt situation. Now, you decide, do you love him? if YES then it's up to you to decide. Go for it.

It's not about your parents, you have to think about what's right for you. If you love him and he loves you then get back together... only you can live with your decisions and wouldn't be ashame if you end up resenting your parents later or if you never got to see things through with your guy. Toughen up and know that although things seem rough with your parents, they won't stop loving you.
