Bladder infections that aren't properly treated may turn into kidney infctions. I think it is a very foolish person who self-diagnoses on the Internet, especially if this is the first time you've experienced this, and you may wind up much sicker than is necessary.
See your doctor. Don't be one of the foolish victims, okay?

Yes - force liquids, and chug the cranberry juice. Look carefully at the bottled juice you buy - some of it is only a few percent cranberry juice; you want the highest concentration you can get.
A web search will turn up some well-controlled studies showing that the stuff is effective against early stage infections. But usually by the time you really notice symptoms, the infection is too well established to be easily dislodged by cranberry juice. See the doctor; get the antibiotic; and TAKE IT FOR THE FULL PERIOD LISTED ON THE PRESCRIPTION. You'll probably feel better within a few hours of starting antibiotics, but if you stop before finishing the full course you'll probably have a repeat infection within a few weeks, and it'll be much more difficult to treat.
Hmmm . . . were you a virgin until about a week ago? There's a medical term "honeymoon cystitus" for the urinary tract infections that women sometimes get when they first become sexually active. If that's you - you need to see your doctor for some other things as well!

No, don't try white spirit vinegar - it's a bit harsh on the stomach. Drink plenty of water (3 litres in 24 hours at least) and then buy some cranberry juice. Drink at least 2 glasses a day including lots of water.
A lot of bladder infections can be "nipped in the bud" this way but if you are running a fever, getting lower back pain or passing blood in your urine you should go to the doctor/hospital for antibiotics. Don't delay. Get checked if you are still having symptoms after 2 - 3 days.
Avoid hot baths and purfumed soaps/shower gels/bubble baths in the mean time as these can make symptoms worse

I think drinking vinegar will most likely just make you throw up.
If you have an infection, you can either wait for it to clear up and help it along the way by drinking cranberry juice.
Or you can do the sensible thing and SEE A DOCTOR!!!!!
Good Luck!! xx
