A female New Zealand age 30-35, anonymous writes:

One of the things i want to do is to resolve some of my problems in the holidays - but i don't know where to begin?

I had about two major crushes when i was younger and I never did anything about the crush and never told them. I feel like its unresolved because even now without doing it on purpose i have dreams about them which is annoying.

I want to resolve it by telling them but i don't know where to begin - or even to do it?

I haven't had contact with them in a long time - one of them is my friend on face book but the other one isn't.

when i was in high school i had a crush on this guy for about 3 years- i never told him directly, but i think he knew i liked him anyways. we were both too shy. as the end of school approached i was really regretting that i had never really gotten to know him properly, but eventually i came to realise that it was best left in the past- because youve liked them for so long there is a good chance that you have high expectations about them which probably have no basis in reality.. i think its best to just leave it.. i know it feels like you have no closure but you can move on anyways..

ive managed to go 3 years without my guy, but even if i see a picture of him or something, he will always have a special place in my heart- theres no closure to these thigns
