I'm trying to loose weight at the moment tooBut their is a couple of things I have to disagree with beaue gallant aboutFirstly the long term effects will be so much greater if yu try to loose the weight slowly other wise you could produce something called metabolic syndrome which basically means that the weight will just pile back on again just as quickly as you lost it. Try and aim for loosing 3lbs every 2 weeks that is the safest and healthiest way to do it.Also try and have something whole grain for breakfast along with maybe a different fruit everyday just to keep the diet from getting boring. The whole grain will be great for your heart so you'll be looking after your body on the inside aswell as the out. And breakfast is the most important meal of the day as it gets your digestive system kick started for the day so try and have something that will keep you going until lunch time,For lunch try and have something light like pasta or a salad and then have a yoghurt and some fruit with that, the pasta will give you more energy and will almost fill you up so you will be less likely to snack in the after noon.If you do find yourself snacking have either a snack bar or more fruit like a banana or even carrot sticks to keep you going For dinner try and have fish or meat, not too much red meat aka pork or beef, the meat will help you with protein and other nutrients and oily fish has omega 3 in it so try cod, haddock, salmon or makrel and add some steamed vegetables.Also make sure you drink plenty of water but when it comes to dessert treat youself for being good allday always remember 80% good 20% bad lolWith exercise try and do an hour a day if you want to go for a run start at your own pace and run a little further each day go in different routes to keep it exciting.But if you decide on something else then yoga and aerobics are both great yoga will help with posture and flexibilty and tone muscles and so will aerobics aswell as burning fatI hope everything goes great for you and you are happy eith the new youSarah x

Eat fruits for breakfast (like fruitsalad), drink black coffee or juice with it.
If you get hungry between any of your meals carry around snacks like yogurt, unsalted cashews (my favorite), trail mix, etc.
For lunch you can eat foods like, couscous, various pastas (with lowfat sauce or no sauce at all), mostly anything in the bread group that can keep you full until dinner. Lunch is the most important meal of the day, so its best to eat breads during lunchtime.
And for dinner, I suggest light salads...it can be garden, bean, etc. Anything that is light.
*Make sure you take hour long walks whenever you get the chance, stay active and find a track that you can run around over the weekends. Make 4 laps your first goal to run without stopping (4 laps equal a mile) and increase with progress....
