Only eat when your hungry, and not enough to make you stuffed per meal. I'm always good with breakfast and lunch, but then I overdue it at dinner cause I don't want to hurt my mom's feelings, and take too little. If you do eat too much for breakfast though, (or any other meal) you can try to work it off by exercising a little. I'm not talking six mile run, but a jog around the block never hurt anyone. :) Don't starve, just watch how much you take in. NEVER eat just out of boredom. It should only be because its time to eat a meal.

anorexics gain these problems through not eating which mean they dont get the right nutrients you can still loose weight fast by eating little but eating healthy stuff like fruit this way your not eating many calories but getting some nutients to stop problems occurring.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (10 February 2008):

Please don't go anorexic, trust me it is not worth the hassle. I was anorexic for 15 years and have been left infertile, weak and without a hope in returning to a 'normal' life. Anorexia ruined my life! I was 14 when i first started loosing weight. I had been 12.2st at my heaviest and i lost 7 stone in 3 monthes. No one ever comented or had a problem with my weight except for myself, i was sick of looking big in my clothes and longed to be like the girls on the many pro-anna websites i visited. I cut out food completly for the first 2 weeks and then ate a pea or a couple of grains of rice each day. I became addicted to diet pills and exercise until i became to weak even to exercise. I fell unconcious and was left in a coma for a month. They kept me in hospital for over a year trying to force feed me i was treated like a baby. then i was sent to a mental institute where i remain 15 years after i was admitted. I currently weigh 5stone and am 5ft11. Just don't do it i hope many people can learn from my mistakes. I may sound like a hypocrite but if you want to lose weight it should be through a calorie controlled, caffeine limiting diet including moderate exercise, you should lose no more that 3 or 4 pounds a week. Thanks

A male reader, anonymous, writes (10 February 2008):

Diets are dangerous.

Losing weight too fast is dangerous.

The only healthy way is to change the way you live.

Eat a far more balanced diet, get in some exercise, drink plenty of water (not energy drinks), join a sports team or something like that.

If you diet you'll only gain the weight back when you finish. But if you just do the above mentioned things... it won't come back because your life-style will already be adapted to keep you at an ideal and toned body-mass.

And set yourself a goal... to have a body like Monica Bellucci's. That is how a REAL woman is supposed to look. With a slender body and curves rather than point bits.

Also take a look at Salma Hayek, or Penelope Cruz and Catherine Zeta-Jones. They three are extremely beatiful women and don't look like walking stick-figures.

In the end. Just try to live a healthier life and take in smaller portions of things instead of cutting things out entirely.

A male reader, Moviefan United States +, writes (10 February 2008):

Moviefan agony auntYou dont have to completely stop eating or eat less to loose wieght. Just eat healthier foods and do some exercises every day. Sit ups, push ups, or walking works. Anything to burn the carbs from the food you eat. And refrain from eating at night that just makes the carbs sit there and just get stored.

And avoid foods high in fat and snacks that are really salty or oily as well. Eat fruit or something like that.

That way you can eat as much as you normaly do and still loose excess wieght.

Laura1318 agony auntDon't follow those magazines portrayal of a beautiful women who have size '0'.They looked like they just come out of a German concentration camp. They are all skins and bones.

I don't know why they see beauty in a scarecrow. It is sickening when those magazines encourage girls to have those bodies.

Be healthy and contented no matter what your body size is.

I feel your pain. I get really depressed after eating. I just eat less than I did before and drink a lot of water. I also eat a metamucil fibre caplet before each meal. Helps to eat less and removes a miniscule amount of fat.

A female reader, Devilish Angel United States +, writes (10 February 2008):

Devilish Angel agony auntI'm 117 pounds and a size three. I was a size seven before. I got this way through careful eating and exercise, which does work. When you eat, don't eat starch foods like rice or bread because it turns into sugar which is loaded into your system. Don't eat those snacks like chips and pickles that are so good but are so bad. Just eat lesser...Don't stop, just don't eat as much as before. Drink lots of liquids instead. It'll fill you up and help you feel full. And exercise. I was always too lazy to exercise but now I'm doing it and I feel great.

Good luck honey and don't be too hard on yourself.
