Though be prepared for some very tender, red skin, and possibly some parts where the top layer of skin has come off. And the red bumps that follow when the hair starts to grow back in.
I like the suggestion that you try it too, so you both can experience hairlessness!
How about a compromise, she trims most of it off and shaves or waxes the sides?

Do you know how it feels to have it all shaved off or even more painfully, waxed!?
The growing back process is none too comfortable either, it itches like hell, and when you're in public ~ and you have that urge, it don't look good to scratch.

Waxing is also painful and may seem daunting. It may also worry her financialy.
If she doesn't mind the idea of shaving then next time she is in the shower sneek in and caress her. Have a little forplay and get all steamed up. When you've created a nice lather, you could shave her yourself.
(only with her consent, of course).
If you sent her away to a spa for the day and tease her telling her that it is the perfect oppurtunity to get it done. You could also suggest ways in which you will treat her sexually for giving you this pleasure.
If she still does not "get around to it" it may be because it doesn't actually arouse her at all and she only says it in the heat of passion as an attempt to arouse you more.
Try asking her.
