 Around here the florist will verify her colors before making the corsage. Going with the wrist style is safe for nay dress style. If all else fails call her mother.

 Just ask her what colour she is gonna wear, why not ? After all, like you said you are gonna order her corsage and you want to make sure it matches with her dress, she should appreciate the thought.
As for head to toe colour coordination, I don't know, I doubt you want to show up maybe all in apricot ,or mint green, do you ? :) I think maybe just one coordinated accessory will be enough, like a neck tie, or a pocket handkerchief or a scarf.

Now, I wouldnt be so stressed about ur situation after seeing that ;p. Its proper and very gentleman of u to ask whats she wearing so u can match. For prom, I just wore all white tux and got ridiculed but I didnt care, that was my style and still is. Call her up, ask her, plan, and have a blast!!
