I want to break up with my guy. The distance between us makes me dread visiting him...

A female , anonymous writes:

This weekend, I am going to visit my long-distance boyfriend to tell him that it's not working for me and I want to end the relationship but still be friends. I love him but I'm not in love with him and I just can't deal with the distance thing. Things had been downhill for a while and I tried to end it before I moved away. I have several problems: The majority of our friends are mutual and they don't know we were having problems. I don't want them to take sides and think that I just never gave it a chance when I moved away. How do I convince them that it just didn't work? Also, last time I tried to break up with him, he convinced me to stay with him because he wanted to be a part of my life and that he loved me. How do I stop myself falling for it again?

I care for him deeply but I just don't feel the physical attraction anymore. I fancy him but I just don't feel a desire to get intimate and the thought of having to do that this weekend makes me dread my visit. Please help!

Letter or phone sounds like your best friends here. And speaking of friends you should also talk to some of your closest friends after/before breaking up. That way they will have your side of the story and wont listen as closely if he in anger blaims you for everything afterwards. Good luck, I'm sure it will work out nicely :)

shania agony auntYour feeling guilty and thats why you cant completely finish with him,but sweetheart, you cant keep going on like this. This fella of yours will have to accept it,he is in denial. You must either face him once again and tell him its over for good or write him a letter instead if you feel that you might give in again.Dont go back to him out of pity, ignore his calls his txt messages, make no contact, whatsoever.Eventually,he will have to accept it.
