Really, you have to talk to him about your needs and part of a relationship is compromise. He may have to give it more than he wants and you may have to get it less than you want, but hopefully you can find a happy medium where you can both be satisfied.
Being with someone who has a drastically different sex drive is tough. Lots of masturbation is how I've coped in the past.
Tell him your needs. See if he's willing to give it an effort. If he's not, then he may not be the guy for you.
