You have plenty of time to get a boyfriend. The thing is, when you end up with some one, it just happens. All you can do is hang out with your friends, go out, get on with your life as normal and you will meet somebody. Don't worry about it. People say that you find love when you're not expecting it and so you shouldn't go looking for it. Just be patient. It'll be worth it when you get it.
Good Luck

Ask your friend to help set you up. Her boyfriend probably knows some nice guys who are single. That's a good place to start unless you have your eyes on someone. Then you should just talk to that guy.

Well, I am in your same situation, kind of. I wanted a boyfriend SOOOO bad that I decided to go out with this one guy and trust me, it was one of the poorest choices I have ever made.
He broke my heart and since I pushed the relationship, it didn't work out and blah... you know the rest.
You are still very young! Focus on school and the right guy will find you, eventually. Oh and trust me..FOCUS in high school so that you can get into the college of your choice and there you are going to meet a LOT of people and maybe the right guy for you. :)
PS-
No woman needs a man to be happy. :)
