writes: Hiya.. Whilst I was on holiday I took the 'Utovlan' pill which stopped my periods so I could go in the pool and basically enjoy it. Although, after I took the pill my periods are starting to hurt a lot more than usual where as before I went on holiday I sailed through them without a single pain or moodswing.. now's a different story.. does anyone know why this may be?

 As a veteran of many pills (dianette,yasmin,cilest) I can say this sounds like a side effect some womens bodies just don't agree with the pill (the reason i've taken so many kinds) see what happens if this gets worse definately go to your GP. As for the moodswings i got terrible moodswings off both dianette and yasmin pills but i haven't got any form cilest 'shop around' try different types.
