Hi, I was in a similar situation some time ago.
The way I got my former lady to leave was shutting down the Internet in the house. I had given her notice, but she had no intention of leaving. That made her really upset at me, and got her to leave quick.
You've given him notice. I'd continue giving him notice and let him know he can't stay after March 1. On March 1, you change the locks to lock him out of the place. It's that simple. You don't need to tell him that you're gonna do that because it might upset him; instead you just need to be clear about the date and the boundary, and then simpl carry out the plan when the time comes.
You could try to have him out sooner but if you've already accepted rent for Feb. it's probably not a good idea, unless he agrees to it. You could let him know that you want him to leave asap, and if he leaves sooner than March you will return that part of his rent to him.

If he's paid the rent, you may have a little more trouble getting rid of him. But if you really want him out, speak to a lawyer about it. They'll tell you where you stand. And who cares if he has nowhere to go. That's not your problem.
