Basically when he was driving home from work he called me and asked what I was doing, I told him that I was just straightening up the house, which I did earlier but right at that moment I was sleeping. I just didnt want him to think I was lazy, so I said I was cleaning. I eventually did tell him that he woke me up and he got so mad at me last night and slept on the couch, and hasnt talked to me since. I guess he is really big on telling the 100% truth, but I didnt think it was that big of a deal, but I guess its good that he's all about telling the truth right? what can I do or say to him that would make him forgive me? The crux of the matter is that he didn't see why you should be resting when he wasn't and didn't like it. A normal chap would have just laughed so this is a bit strange. If he is the type that wants to know what you are doing every second of the day be careful as it can escalate to you not being able to do anything without permission. Hopefully he will realise he has been an idiot and this will just blow over as his behaviour is too silly for words

I'm curious- is there more to this story? have you done things in the past that have caused him to be mistrusting? Or have other girlfriends of his? Because that is a huge, huge overreaction to the scenario you're presenting, so either this guy is Insane or he has been severely damaged in some way.
